OUR STORY

Welcome to the Manor House in Sakrisøy.

Carl-Fredrik Gylseth is the fifth generation owner of the Manor House, having taken over in 2008 from his grandmother and grandfather, Gunvor and Svenn Gylseth.

After their passing, extensive restoration work has begun around the gardens and considerable effort was put into restoring the house to the classic style of former times.

We hope you will have a pleasant stay and kindly ask you to take good care of the house and gardens.

Sakrisøy Gjestegård is a family-owned business that is open all year round. We aim to meet our guests’ requirements and to provide the best service one can get in a guesthouse.

The old manor house of Sakrisøy opens its door to the hundreds of tourists that visit the Lofoten Islands every year.
